THE
HISTORY

The Kitchen Argentina, formerly Main Post, was established in 1998, by Ignacio Mainini, specifically to provide Latin American/Neutral Spanish dubbing and subtitling services to many of the industry’s leading networks, producers and distributors.

Originally established in Miami, Florida, the fledgling studio quickly relocated to Caracas, Venezuela, where the industry appeared to be in need of professional language services. In spite of gaining a respected reputation in the dubbing industry, Main Post executives felt the pressure due to the political climate in that country, to relocate again, this time to Buenos Aries.

That was in 2009. It was a logical move as numerous LATAM networks and distributors were centralizing their headquarters in the capitol city.

The dubbing industry in Buenos Aires has blossomed in the last few years, as their professional acting pool has grown dramatically. 

Concurrently, Latin Spanish dubbing has become one of the most important target languages for The Kitchen’s international clients, and the studio provides all the necessary services to localize to LAS from all languages.

In 2021, in spite of the global Pandemic The Kitchen Argentina was created to increase capacity and provide LAS localization solutions in new territories and for varying budgets.

“It’s been the right decision from the onset,” explained Managing Director, Ignacio Mainini, “as BA offers us such a diverse and experienced pool of talented voice actors.  This year The Kitchen Argentina will be adding two new recording suites to its operation with room to grow as The Kitchen’s need for Latin Spanish language services continues to grow.

PEOPLE

PATRICIA SVETLIZA
Accounting Manager

Patricia Svetliza is the Accounting Manager for TKArgentina. Patricia is responsible for client relations, as well as all financial operations, including accounts receivables. She and Ignacio, TKArgentina's Managing Director, have been working together as a finally tuned "team" for nearly two decades.


MARILINA GARCIA ALCHURRUT
Production Manager

Marilina Garcia Alchurrut is TKArgentina's Production Manager for all projects. Marilina has a very solid and extended background in the industry. She studied music/vdeo production and has more than 16 years experience in the audio/visual industry, working in production and post-production, as well as managing local and international music concerts. Marilina has supervised the dubbings and mixes for such clients as: Disney, Netflix, Sony, HBO, and Dolce Welle productions.


IGNACIO MAININI
Managing Director

In 1998, Ignacio Mainini, an Argentinian native, introduced the former Main Post to the industry, in Miami. The studio aimed at providing dubbing and subtitling services to the industry's leading networks, producers and distributors.

Growing up in Latin America gave Mainini a true understanding of the Hispanic-speaking community. Caracas, Venezula, prior to the country's current political climate, was Main Posts' next move. Facilities were built in Caracas and the reputation of Main Post continued to grow. The opportunity to return to his native Argentina however, and of joining The Kitchen "family" of global language studios, was precisely what Mainini and his team were looking for. Ignacio Mainini serves as Managing Director for The Kitchen Argentina.


VERÓNICA GARCIA ALCHURRUT
Project Manager

Veronica is a seasoned industry executive with more than 15 years of work experience. With a result-oriented profile, she has led projects, met deadlines and requirements of first-line clients in other multinational companies. In addition, Verónica has extensive experience in subscription services, similar to those offered today by Streaming Platforms like Netflix, Paramount+, Disney+, etc.

YANINA LOPEZ
Project Manager

Yanina has a unique background in the industry, where she began her career in music production in the audiovisual sector. She was also a vocal coach for musical productions; worked in the post-production audiovisual industry in various sectors such as quality control and creation of foley;, audio postproduction; production in original productions; served as a casting specialist and dubbing director. Yanina has supervised the dubbings and mixes for clients such as: NBC, HBO, Discovery, BBC, BBC for Disney.
